Kids and Teens Group Art classes

Afterschool Art Classes for kids and teens:

Art Class For Kids (Step-by-Step Class): Drawing, Painting, Illustration, and more. In this class, we will focus on learning how to draw and paint together. Mondays from 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Ages 6 – 9) (In-person maximum of six students.

Art Class: Drawing, Sketching, and Painting: Kids and Teens. Students select what they want to focus on. Learn to draw lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, black and white, and color. Learn to draw with pencil, charcoal, pastels, and prismacolors. Drawing, Illustration, Cartooning, Fashion Design, and more. Mondays from 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm. (ages 7 and up) See student artwork!!!

Art Class: Drawing, Sketching, and Painting: Kids and Teens. Kids will learn to draw lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, black and white, and color. Art Class: Drawing, Sketching, and Painting: Kids and Teens Learn to draw lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, black and white, and color. Learn to draw with pencil, charcoal, pastels, and prismacolors. Drawing, Illustration, Cartooning, Fashion Design, and more. – Fridays from 4:40 pm to 6:00 pm. See student artwork!!!

Weekend Art Classes for kids and teens:

Drawing, Painting and Manga, Illustration, for Teens Class: The Manga Illustration, Drawing, and Painting class will teach conventional realistic drawing techniques. Develop skills that translate to any realistic drawing: light and shadow, line and tone, perspective and foreshortening, hands, faces, and body action, yet they can learn while drawing the content they want. Students focus on what they want to draw and improve their skills while learning about different artists and art genres. Saturdays from 11:00 to 12:20 pm. (age 12 and up) (In Person: Maximum eight students/ Online: Maximum 4 students) See student artwork!!!

Afternoon Drawing, Painting, and Manga Illustration for kids and teens. Class: Learn to draw lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, black and white, and color. Learn all about drawing illustrations and color. Prismacolors pencils, ink, watercolor, and markers. Learn to draw lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, black and white, and color. Students focus on what they want to draw and improve their skills while learning about different artists and art genres. Saturdays from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. (age seven and up) (In Person: Maximum eight students/ Online: Maximum 4 students) See student artwork!!!

Homeschooling students and after-school programs are welcome to join the classes.

During The Week, Adult Art Classes

Drawing and Painting Art Class: Learn drawing and painting. Learn drawing lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, and more. Learn to draw with pencil, charcoal, pastels, prismacolors. Learn to paint in different mediums and styles as the masters did, and in the process, find out your style. You will learn different painting techniques while creating your artwork. Create your art portfolio.

Weekend Adult Art Classes

Saturday Drawing and Painting Art Class: Unable to attend art class during the week? Not a problem! You can now join our painting and drawing class on Saturdays. All levels are welcome – from beginners to intermediate and advanced. We will be working with acrylics, pastels, ink, pencils, and other materials. Our subjects will include nature, animals, portraits, abstracts, and more! Join us for a creative morning and discover the artist within you.
– Saturdays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. (Adults and high schoolers are welcome)

WEEKEND WORKSHOPS: Once or twice a month, I offer step-by-step Workshops to adults and teens. These workshops take place on Saturdays from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

All art lessons take place at Vanessa’s Art Studio in Citrus Park, Tampa, FL.

Drawing is something completely outside my comfort zone and to challenge myself, I decided to take drawing classes with Vanessa. Over 8 or 10 weeks, Vanessa has taught me to draw. Quite amazing really, I did not anticipate she would actually be able to teach me to draw. Vanessa is vivacious, has wonderful ideas to teach you drawing, but be forewarned, she is a task mistress. You won’t get off not doing work during the class. On the other hand, you are going to come away, having learnt to handle a pencil and produce drawings.
